Dr. Anser Abbas graduated from McMaster University with an an Honours Bachelors degree in Life Sciences. He graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2020. Following this he completed training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. In July 2022 he completed a 2-year residency in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences, where his research thesis focused on optimizing back pain care for older patients. Dr. Anser is passionate about educating patients to understand, manage, and conquer pain. He works with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that include progressive strengthening and manual techniques such as joint manipulation, myofascial release therapy, and neurofunctional acupuncture. He has a special interest in chronic and degenerative pain conditions. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Anser is a clinical instructor at CMCC and enjoys running, reading, and playing guitar.
